Aldebaran was always my favorite star. However, I won't confess to that being my alter ego when I was a young geeky girl dressing up in a superhero outfit whose battle cry was "ALDEBARAN AWAY!!!!" I won't, and nothing you do or say can make me confess.

If the distance from the sun to Neptune was 1mm. The distance to Alpha Centauri from the sun would be about a football field. That is Donna and I figuring. Someone correct us if we're wrong.

This guy's commentary reminds me of the free-style verse that always seems to appear on these spammed emails for "Get Out of Debt."

Nuts!

(I don't mean crazy nuts, or the kind of nuts John likes to talk about. I mean "Nuts!" as in when McAuliffe refused to surrender to the Germans.) Keep it comin' John. Get it out, I can take it.

I haven't watched any of the world cup this year. It is one of the few sports I like to watch though. People in England were always apologizing for having "football" on the tele, but I never minded it at all. I actually liked it. Especially compared to all the soap opera bullshit on the BBC. Athens is a cool college town. Everything is linked to the university. You'd be missing out on the benefits of a real city like Atlanta though by living there. I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have about the town. I've been wanting to write a book for a long time and never seem to get around to it. I was going to retry "The Rooted Snag" which was the beginning of my New Orleans wino superhero, but that was 6 years ago and I've changed a bit. I think I should start totally from scratch and start and finish it without showing anyone until I'm finished. Good luck with your writing endevors and let me know where I buy the first book or what magazine to find your latest story.
