http://www.scifimoviepage.com/upcoming/upcoming.html

A list of possible upcoming fantasy/sci-fi movies.

Most notable to me:
Peter Jackson producing (not directing) - District 9, and two movies covering The Hobbit.

James Cameron directing Avatar.

Dreamworks' Monster vs. Aliens

Also:
Outlander - Spaceman teams up with Vikings to kill an alien monster, just looks like fun to me.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett - Old theme of man ages backward, but I'm still curious.

Several good Sci-Fi books to be made into movies (but what will Hollywood do with them?) -
Robert Charles Wilson's - Spin
Phillip K. Dick's - Ubek
Dan Simmon's - Hyperion Cantos (combined screenplay of first two books in this series)
William Gibson's - Neuromancer
Orson Scott Card's - Ender's Game
Aldous Huxley's - Brave New World (possibly directed by Ridley Scott)

There has been lots of talk about the Avenger movies coming up in the next few years -
Iron Man 2
Thor (going to be a hard sell if you ask me)
Captain America (Do we fight Nazi's? Communists? Is Red Skull gonna turn into a Terrorist now?)
Ant-man (directed by same director as Shaun of the Dead) I look forward to this one most.
I don't hear anything about a Wasp movie in the works.

It has been over a month since I broke up with Donna and it is still hard to let go. She has moved on with her life and is doing well for herself. I am glad to see that. It just wasn't meant to be between us and we both knew that, but we still held on for awhile before the breakup anyway. Since then, I have turned 40 yrs old, I am about to let in a new roommate, and I am on the hunt to find things to do with my spare time now. I've started writing music again and have acquired a drummer to jam out with on the weekends. Things are looking better and I hope I will be up to the task of getting on with my life sans girlfriend. Oh yeah, and... OBAMA/RICHARDSON 2008!

Obama/Richardson 2008!!!

Sunday, December 23, 2007

Hey all,

I haven't blogged in some time now. Things are going pretty well for me. I'm working for a mental health care center that just promoted me to Executive Director. They really need someone with a background in mental health though, so I've resigned and I am going to work for a Psychiatirist that will put me back in school and provide benefits and whatnot. Doesn't pay a whole lot, but it's enough to get me by and I'm learning a whole new field which is where I like to be most. (Learning something new) Donna and I are still in love and still living together in New Orleans with Donna's dog, "Agi". (Jack Russell Terrier wishing Merry Christmas above) Donna will be going back to school also in the upcoming months, so we should be a very busy couple juggling work and school. Anyway, Merry Christmas all from Donna and Benjamin and Agi! I hope everybody's new year will be filled with interesting events that are metiocrally pleasant to overwhelmingly joyous.

I had a blast at my high school 20 year reunion. It really seemed like Ned should have been there, even though he was a grade behind.
